Description

FINALLY FINISHED this piece combining almost all the Disney heroines I can think of. I have pretty much reinterpreted each Disney character's design.

CHARACTER CHANGES:

-Tiana: None, because she's a new character and her movie has not been screened in the cinema yet. Therefore, I should keep to her original design a bit until it becomes iconic enough to change =P

-Pocahontas: The most significant change is the headdress; inspiration came from this deviation: [link] but obviously Pocahontas wouldn't be wearing the chieftain's headdress.

-Lucy Pevensie: I kind of kept to the clothes she wears in Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. As a side note, Lucy is probably the only 'Disney' character who shows true innocence, in my opinion of course.

-Elizabeth Swann: I pretty much made up a costume for her from scratch; I was going to draw her with a pirate hat on, but then when I looked through some stills, I realised it didn't look very good on her =P

-Cinderella: I've never liked her original costume from the Disney movie, so I gave it an almost complete transformation whilst sticking to her colour palette. The top of her dress is supposed to be feathery with a few beads sewed in =P

-Helen Parr a.k.a. Elastigirl: Ok, she'll be hard to recognise because she isn't wearing the iconic red outfit. I find the red outfit hard to work with, probably because of the colouring, so I preferred to play around with Elastigirl's 'old' costume from the start of the movie: [link] . The lines are a bit messy for now...though I do like keeping a rough style in my art for some reason. I've basically re-made her white outfit, being inspired by one of Jean Grey's (from X-Men) old costumes.

-Alice: Not much changes for Alice, except for the hair. I decided to give it a messy look, in comparison to Disney's clean design for Alice. In my opinion, the messiness emphasizes the child that Alice is; children don't really have a care for cleanliness and all, unless their parents force it upon them. I kept her clothing design to as close as Disney as...well, as I could, except for the elaborate frills and all.

-Jane: I prefer 'Jungle Jane' than the 'Plain Jane' at the beginning of Tarzan...though I like Jane in general =P The thing is I think her 'jungle' clothing at the end of the film represents who she is/who she has wanted to be, so I've pretty much altered the entire outfit (because I forgot what it looked like in the film) . I was going to do her yellow dress and gloves (I quite like that costume too actually...) but it felt too...plain for me. So I took it a little to the extreme...and gave her a leopard skin top and tribal accessories.

-Giselle: I've kept to the design of her blue 'hand-made' dress that she wears throughout the movie, minus the little pink flower embroidery on the dress because that would be time consuming.

-Snow White: None, because it's hard to change her design (might be because of her colour palette)

-Jasmine: While maintaining her iconic blue off-shoulder top, I've tried to make her more authentic, relating her design to Arabic fashion. So I included a sari, and more elaborate accessories.

-Mulan: Basically changed her soldier outfit significantly; rather than having it mainly green, it's a mixture of golds, brown, grey and green.

-Belle: Not many changes to her design; basically her hair bow is bigger and her dress is based on an old design I did:

-Ariel: Just a pearl necklace as an addition to her character design.

-Susan Pevensie: I pretty much just based if off the design from Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. The colour palette is a bit different though

- Esmeralda: Not many changes here either, except that her corset is red here instead of blue, and she's twirling around some black, transparent sheet rather than her tambourine.

-Meg: Changed her outfit by making the top twisted is a halter instead.

-Aurora: No changes

*Despite those changes, all character designs belong to Disney

**I have also uploaded some of the individual portraits:
